Fraemohs homes are built using a unique, high quality solid timber building system. Interlocking wall boards provide exceptional strength together with the warm, natural textures and colours of timber grain.
Fraemohs homes are warm, durable and low maintenance
NZ timber is laminated and machined into 95mm or 63mm thick solid timber wall boards which are treated with non metallic LOSP timber treatment to H3.1. Plumbing and electrical ducts are machined into the wall boards. Once erected the only finishing required is a coating of natural oil based stain or polyurethane.
A variety of insulated floor and roof structures are available. The internal roof can be sloping or flat and ceilings can be exposed laminated beams with natural timber, or conventional ceiling linings.
Double glazed exterior doors and windows are standard in all Fraemohs homes.
Fraemohs homes are available as Kitset
Our range of plans is categorised for ease of selection into EasyBuild, Lifestyle Plus and Fraemohs Select.
Easybuild plans are ideal for your own project and are available as a kitset.
Other plans are also available as a kitset and we will advise you on the skill level and experience required to build your own home. In some cases we will recommend a builder to assist with critical stages of the build and can include this in the building contract.
Kitsets come with comprehensive construction drawings and instructions. A toolkit including electric drop saw, drill and belt sander is also included.
Fraemohs Homes are Eco – Friendly
Solid timber is a renewable resource. A Fraemohs home locks up harmful carbon dioxide so is very good for the planet. Studies have shown that solid timber homes are energy efficient, warm and healthy to live in.
